Cookie policy
What cookies and similar technologies we use on this site, and how you can control your preferences.
Last updated: 2 October 2026
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a site. They let the site remember actions and preferences (such as your cookie choice) over time, so you don't have to re-enter them on every visit. We also use similar technologies, such as localStorage.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function and, only with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies. On your first visit we show a banner where you can accept all, choose necessary only, or set your preferences. Non-essential cookies are never activated before consent.
Before you make a choice in the banner, the site sends a single anonymous audience-measurement signal (the page viewed), with no cookies, no identifiers, and nothing stored in your browser.
Once you make a choice in the banner (including "Necessary only"), we run a basic functional measurement, exclusively first-party: we count visits and sessions and record site-operation events (such as opening the chat window). This data is collected and stored only by us, on our own servers; it is not shared with third parties and is not used for advertising. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in keeping the site running and improving it. The more intrusive analytics and marketing layers remain governed by your consent, per the categories below.
3. Cookie categories
Strictly necessary & first-party functional measurement
Cookies and identifiers in this category are needed for the site to work and for the basic functional measurement described in Section 2 (visits, sessions, operation events such as opening the chat). Functional measurement starts once you make a choice in the banner and runs exclusively first-party, on the basis of legitimate interest.
| Cookie / identifier | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| globalnest_cookie_consent_v1 | Stores your cookie choice | ~12 months (localStorage) |
| __ctd_consent | Stores the applied measurement level (necessary / analytics) | Persistent (localStorage) |
| First-party visitor/session identifier | Counts visits/sessions and site-operation events, stored only by us | Session / first-party |
| __ctd_ad_consent | Stores your Marketing choice for the Google Ads measurement described under Marketing below | Persistent (localStorage) |
| __ctd_first_touch | Keeps the campaign parameters of your arrival, including the Google click identifier | Persistent (localStorage); replaced when you arrive through a new campaign link |
Analytics (optional, with consent)
Checking the Analytics category enables more detailed layers: cursor/click interaction heatmaps and, when added, tools such as Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.
| Cookie | Provider / purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| — | No third-party analytics cookies are active yet; this category is a forward-looking placeholder governed by the same consent gate. | — |
Marketing (optional, with consent)
We do not place advertising cookies or Google tags on this site. When you arrive from one of our Google ads, the link carries a Google click identifier (gclid, gbraid or wbraid). We keep it, first-party, with the record of your visit. If you accepted Marketing cookies and you then book a visit or leave your contact details in the chat, we make the click identifier, the time of that action and an internal reference available to Google Ads, so that Google can show us which ads lead to real enquiries. We never send your name, e-mail address or phone number. Without Marketing consent, nothing is sent to Google.
| Cookie | Provider / purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| — | No advertising cookies are set. The measurement described above uses the __ctd_ad_consent and __ctd_first_touch keys listed under Strictly necessary; your Marketing choice decides whether the click identifier is made available to Google Ads. | — |
4. Managing your preferences
You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Note that disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
5. Third-party resources
This site loads web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) to render its typography. No advertising or analytics cookies are set by third parties at this time.
