Global Nest Portugal is a boutique development firm focused on mid-sized residential projects in Lisbon and selected high-demand coastal cities. We specialize in sourcing, structuring and managing developments of at least 10 units and €5–10M in GDV, designed for CAEP investors seeking disciplined execution and clear contractual terms.
Leadership
Global Nest Portugal was founded by Irina Leca, a real-estate developer in Portugal. Her background started in architecture and design. She co-founded a smartwatch start-up, working in product design and then marketing, before corporate technology roles at Fitbit and Google. She later returned to entrepreneurship as CEO of a proptech company, and that mix of architecture, design, technology, marketing and entrepreneurship led her into real-estate development.
Today she is personally involved in selecting opportunities, reviewing the financial models, working with the development partners and professional teams, following the projects on site and speaking directly with investors. Global Nest works with development partners — Aresta in Setúbal and HUUS in Figueira da Foz — whose own track records are theirs.
How we operate
Global Nest Portugal does not operate as a construction company. Instead, the team coordinates a curated ecosystem of co-developers, contractors, architects, interior designers, project managers, legal counsel, and accounting partners.
Each project is delivered through this integrated network, providing the technical depth needed to execute complex developments while maintaining rigorous oversight, financial discipline, and transparent investor communication.
